Okay i have supported QPR for as long as i can remember. For you to come on here and just dismiss that, its just rude. We have a group of us in Brisbane that meet up and watch most games. I have been up at three in the morning watching games. That takes dedication. I know a few people on this site, as for every one else i would not dream of saying has they feel about QPR is like a Chinese man utd fan. Just rude.

Staying up till 3am is dedication ? Try dropping over £1500 (that's probably around Aus$ 3000 to you) on 2 season tickets, then lecture me on dedication.

Herlja, you've had one thread closed tonight (wisely at your own call).

Can you stop baiting people now please?

Like i said i am not the one who is lecturing. Just don't come on here and tell me that my love for my club is worthless. You will find people on this site that have fantastic stories about supporting this club. You should not dismiss them just because they do not have a season ticket like you.

Hello 66. Just in case you haven't been on here before, welcome to our tidy little workshop!

Why are you baiting Queens? As amusing as it all is (especially picking a quarry who's bound to bite!), you're like a dog on heat mate. Calm down a bit. Baiting's against the rules cos it winds people up after a while.

Anyway, the TV vs. match ticket debate. I'm between you and Queens on this issue. Attend about a third of our home matches atm and watch the rest on stream when it's not on Sky. Which angle informs me best about what went on? Telly probably. Half the time I'm at LR I miss significant action cos the view's obscured or something else has caught my attention and I'm looking the other way.

Totally missed Zamora's Kung-Fu kick and Taarabt's jump and duck at the end amongst other things in the last home game. Had to wait to see the TV replay when I got home - but given the fact I was so humpy by then it took a couple of days to catch up.

Whilst there are obvious and less obvious advantages to attending games, hence the expense even in seasons such as these, imo it isn't true to say TV's a disqualifier when it comes to valid opinions.

But I think you know that already - AND that Queens is a major biter on this very issue. Lucky stab in the dark or strategic agenda? We'll give you the benefit of the doubt - for now...

herlja, give it a rest will you? Jesus, I'm a patient man but honestly.. I haven't been to HQ for ages but alas once a hoop always a hoop and all of us are here for the same reason. This really isn't the time for someone new to come on here and wind all of us long sufferers up. Feel free to debate in August when the new season comes ( wherever we might be )

Boys boys boys, Im here to cause no fuss, honestly. It's just That Queens and some of his mates are trying to wind me up. Ive agreed to call a truce with regards to queens, but this queenslandranger bloke keeps sticking his nose in when I'm just minding my own business and haven't even addressed him!! I don't want to comtinue arguing for the time being any further but when people post comments in my general direction, I feel the need to reply. That is all.
Again I'm here for banter and opinions only, not to argue particularly, although you may find that last bit hard to believe given the activity of the past couple days !! :)

Herlja, what's the problem? Why aren't you embracing the fact that we've got supporters all over the world? How can that in any way be a negative thing? It's a fantastic thing. Little old QPR are supported and loved all over the planet - I've learned that through this forum. Obviously the Aussies and kiwis and the like can't get over for the odd game, but the Irish and the ones from the lands of the beautiful get over pretty often between them.

These guys have as much right as any to form and voice their opinions and we all come on here and put them out there. No need to offend, or be offended by, anyone. Wouldn't be much fun if we all thought the same, would it?

We're all equals on here buddy.

Unfortunately I've had my backpacking year already, however id love to do another, and Australia would be great. If I do ever end up down under Ill make sure to give you boys a shout ! Despite my spats on here with Queenslander and yourself, I have no doubt all of us would get on like a house on fire as that tends to be the case between QPR fans I've met... Again if I'm ever in the area i'd like nothing more than a few pints, some footie and general banter with you and your fellow club members, so we can discuss all things Rangers

In reality you're completely right mate, I embrace the fact that we in general are growing as a club on a global scale, and as I said in previously posts, I've found the majority of the views and opinions on here excellent regardless of where the person who posted them are based... It's just that some of the Aussies and I had a futile argument over the future of Taarabt, that is all really.

    Boys? How quaint.

Mate. You clearly ain't getting the hint. Your reassuring words don't match your actions. Consequently two days in and you're already on the mod radar. Cause and effect.

    Must be a record.

D'you think we ain't got better things to do our time?

Brixton, I've said my piece and called truce with Queenslander and personally I consider the matter over. I've taken your hints, but am I no longer allowed to post comments?? Nothing I've said since you weighed in to the conversion has been provocative in any way shape or form... !! If you wish to continue this clearly pointless discussion then fine, but I would rather move on and look forward to Taking my seat at the Stoke game tomorrow

    Cheers

Oh dear, looks like we'll have to have the "going toi a game makes you a real supporter" debate after all.

This guy is a student...can see why the country has gone down hill. good luck

i'll be expecting an apology from 66 to come at the end of the debate, as per the others who made the same silly comment. In his defence he is only young so maybe we can give him/her the benefit of stupidity?

Could be a good poster, can see plenty of debate with him in the upcoming weeks before he/she gets their ban...bring it !

To be fair Queenslander 66 seems right up your street you are both as stubborn as each other. Any way be nice to him when he comes over to Australia i said he could stay at yours . As for the fan and support debate. This really does not need to take place as most people do agree with you. Plus i really don't want to hear about it. I still rue the day some one had the audacity to say Adel could play for Barca. Every time he lose the ball Farflung and i have to listen to Barca this and adel lovers that.
