Faye Chester Simpson If Koren had put in a performance like Quinn tonight there'd be a lynch mob out looking for him. Elmo wasn't at the races and Fryatt should never have started. Gedo was poor, Meyler can't play holding midfielder to save his life and Hobbs looked really nervous. Too many players off their game tonight. Overall, not that clever.
That was possibly (from a technical perspective) the worst game of football I have ever watched in my life, neither team seemed able to pass or control as it looked like they were playing with a bouncy ball for most of the game, but the crossing by both teams was particularly ****e. The pitch takes quite a bit of the blame for that as it was like we were playing at Blackpool tonight, that surface was an embarrassment. My top 3 are: Faye Chester Hobbs I've name the back 3 as I think that all the other outfiled players were expected to contribute something going forward and not one of them did. As a final piece, I have to question how Brady is still taking all of our set pieces, he hit the first man from any and every angle tonight.
Faye Simpson McShane Faye did his job, Simmo should have started so it's more of a protest vote and McShane because no other ****er deserved a mention and at least he looks funny.
Hobbs - Mainly because he was the only one picking up the ball and driving forwards, everyone else was far too static. Also very good in defence, great covering tackles Faye - Beast again, dominated the air Meyler - Never gives up on the ball, typified when it was going for a goal kick near the end and he sprinted to karate kick it out for a throw
spot on, agree with every point especially the Brady one, did what he always does but so much worse that usual tonight.
Faye Fryatt Simpson Faye was a beast at the back once again. Fryatt did ok considering his recent return and Simpson was lively when he came on. Elmo, Brady and Boyd need a serious kick up the arse. Brady's crossing was absolutely terrible, he could be out there all week and not find his man. Boyd couldn't control the simplest of passes and Elmo basically just stood there, didn't seem to want the ball at all and made no effort to get forward. Another frustrating performance and once again we're relying on other teams to help us out.
