<peacedove>Tony Pulis appears to have made many enemies than friends in the premiership. The long throw, long ball made made Stoke city difficult to beat especially at home.
Tony Pulis once or twice got on the nerves of Arsene Wenger.I do not think he is in the
good book of past and present managers of Liverpool and Chelsea.
The fate of both Reading and QPR is a forgone conclusions. Wigan appears to have made many friends because of their survival tactics year in year out, so many people prefer Wigan to stay up than Stoke City.
Wellcome to the championship Stoke City.

My hatred for Stoke stems from Tony Pulis's style that he implemented. Fair enough - creating a strong and disciplined team to help you survive relegation in your initial years in the PL but then you should be looking to build from that and evolve. He's remained consistent all these years.

I hope those whoppers go down, I'll need surgery to remove the permanent grin.

    This!

Seems so disrespectful to the sport. Suits... fine! Sweats? OK.

Baseball cap? C'mon... show some respect as if you care about the sport instead of that rediculous cap. You're supposed to be a man in postion of influence... not dressing like a drunk redneck.

I could tolerate the boring defensive play.
I could tolerate the constant diving.
I could tolerate the thuggery and attempts to injure other players....

Stoke does all the above with abundance... but I never... never... never want to see a man in charge of a club wearing a cap again.

Janitor of a club... OK... not a manager. Bet he even wears it in bed whilst getting ploughed from behind.

    Bastard Pulis.

I remember when Rafa was in charge and his father died but Rafa still managed the team for the next game rather than go back home. Rafa was described as cold hearted, ruthless etc.

Tony Pulis was in a similar scenario but was described as strong, leader etc.

Not really his own fault, but it added to my hatred!

I have one and three half Americans in my house and I don't dislike any of them... :p

Stoke is evil because of Pulis. They could have no Americans or 100 Americans... makes no difference... Pulis is the Antichrist of football.

He is the prius in an F1 race. The Shi'ite at the bar mitzvah. The vegetarian at an all you can eat steakhouse.

Pulis must be removed from my Saturday morning Telly.

  10. I actually liked Stoke not too long ago. They were player 442 with two out-and-out wingers.

However, whatever the reason, they've stopped doing this. They have instead reverted to their previous tactic of aggression and bullying.

I'm all for teams playing to their strengths but Stoke had started to move on from the "fighting" days.

Plus, Pulis is a baseball cap wearing prick <ok>

That was Henry Winter, of the Times at the time. Bigger **** than Pulis.

I can't help feeling that Stoke started slipping when their fans started gurning about wanting to be Wigan instead and the players thought they were players.

We need Stoke to go down because Cardiff are coming up. With Everton and West Hame already safe we can't afford even more longball teams if the Premier League is to maintain its prestige.
