I hope Harry wants him as hes already proved himself a very good NPC player. Hed be my 1st choice in CM with Jenas.
    ----

Alejandro Faurlín is keen on a return to Queens Park Rangers when the midfielder’s loan spell at Palermo finishes in the summer, according to the Argentine’s agent.

Hoops manager Harry Redknapp allowed Faurlín to make a temporary switch to the Serie A outfit during the January transfer window after snapping up Jermaine Jenas and Andros Townsend from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 26-year-old has only featured twice for Palermo since moving to the Stadio Renzo Barbera, and his agent Lucas Cominelli indicated Faurlín wants to stay at the Hoops beyond the summer despite being out-of-favour under Redknapp.

“We intend to let the season play out and meet with QPR in the summer to find out what they want to do next,” Cominelli said.
“I think it would be difficult for Ali if Harry Redknapp is there. After all, he wasn’t giving him much chance after he took over. But Ali loves London and he loves QPR, where he would be delighted to return if they want him.
“He has a year left on his contract, and he wants to go somewhere where he can play regularly. It’s all about playing games for him.”
Cominelli hinted other Italian clubs are keen on signing Faurlín but the former Instituto star will wait to see QPR’s intentions in the summer.
He added: “If there is a place for Alejandro because QPR have a change of heart we would want to explore all options.”

From what I've read he hasn't had a lot of game time out in Sicily, which I thought was the idea behind loan spells. I really like Ale as a player but maybe the Championship is about his level. He hasn't been the same since that injury at MK Dons.

    Please prove me wrong Alejandro.

He looked good in the PL until his injury.

Hes got the perfect chance to come back and play "at his level" and hopefully then prove he can play at a level above. We cant buy 20 new players if we come back up so hes one who should be kept on.

I agree, when you put it like that Faurlin will be like a new signing.

Yep, I'm a Faurlin fan too. However, I don't think Harry is. If Harry stays, Ale will go imo.

Ale deserves another chance. Christ how many chances did SWP get! If Ale can get some regular game time, he can be great again in the Championship. I hope Harry realises Ale has the right attitude and passion, unlike some of the other mis-fits.

With Flyer on this the boy on form can blow most away in the division ... It's a case of that returning naturally to his game .... I believe he got a bit star struck by the names that arrived

Let him boss and he will boss games again for us

Harold's bad judgement but I will wait until the end to say more about him

Topped the tackling chart even months after his injury. What Harry needs to get us out of the Championship is players who have been there and done it. Faurlin has, he's a fantastic footballer and maybe our only real "find" in recent years. His only weakness is pace, when caught in possesion in the Prem he could never recover and he didn't have the cynicism to haul them down when he did. But I'm sure he has learned and that will benefit us.

totally agree with you on this. hope jenas stays & overall Ali would be one of my fav's. Paired alongside jenas, now that would be a top NPC mid field. We could even afford to incorporate that other bloke who aint bad...whats his name?

I used to say that but if he breaks up opponents play and creates chances that's fine for me.

A fully functioning Faurlin would grace most teams.

Bit worried about all this 'good for the championship' talk though. If we rebuild a squad with championship quality players we are just going to have to rebuild it yet again when we get out of the championship - back to square one. Lets try to get/retain as much prem quality as we can, build a foundation.

Not doubt most of us here would agree with you, myself included but maybe the thought of paying all those wages ( current team ) are playing on our minds.
