20 or more or no deal. with his age and experience surely worth more than 12 considering the inflated prices players sell for these days.

Haha. I think this is a moot point, as even the best teams(Chelsea used to) struggle to keep 2 quality keepers happy. They had Cech and Cudicini, I saw no way Forster was willing to do a Steve Harper when he could go and fulfill his potential elsewhere.

On another note, we really could sell Krul in a few years if it happens that our laddies Woodman's kid, Alnwick etc develop well. If one thing about us was sure, it's that we always had a production line of decent keepers.

The Next Tim Krul comes up, we sell Krul for upwards of 18million. The cycle continues...

Oh and by the way, if De Gea was bought for 20 over million, I personally don't see why Krul should be sold for a measly 12million.

Elliot is happy enough right now, he just needs to shift a few pounds... looks a little 'chunky' at times.
It would improve his agility and speed so he can't really complain.

I'm off to check he's doing his sit-ups right now...

    Behave man!

On the article, £12million is about right for the excellent Krul, not many keepers will go for more than that.

I expect us to lose Mig for a similar amount, hopefully I'm wrong on this.

I suspect £12 Million is an opening tentative suggestion and if he goes £15-£20 Million more likely and more acceptable.

I don't think he has been half as good this year. However he is baby in keeping terms at 25 and will end up one of the best. The fee is probably fair at this stage but I'd retain him at all costs personally.

How frequently has he been injured? It's only this recent stretch where he got unlucky with the injuries. If I recall correctly, he was ever present last year wasn't he?

The biggest problem with dislocations is that once they've gone once, they are prone to doing it again and again. He needs a proper lay off while it heals. Hopefully that might be enough go put clubs off bidding fir him in the summer. Let's just hope this injury doesn't scupper his career long term.

You have to remember he dislocated his shoulder on loan at Falkirk also. Not uncommon for goalkeepers obviously but worrying nonetheless.
