For what it's worth i'd rather see him at Southampton than Palarse & i'm sure if you wanted him badly enough you could financially blow them out of the water. At League One level he's one of the best. Brilliant at winning headers & leading the line, Has a great shot on him too. Obviously untested in The Championship but i can't see him struggling. He has had problems in the past though with injuries, homesickness & getting himself sent off but seems to be over that now & settled in the south with his current girlfriend. ã12k a week plus signing on fee is a lot of money to splash on an unproven League One striker hence why we let him go.
Saints have a sensible wage structure similar to Brighton, unlike Palace Come back when you know what you are talking about, just a little dissapointed he didnt sign with you are we
You didn't beat us to the signing of him, we obviously weren't interested. Our interest was media and supporter speculation. If we wanted him, we would of had him, but we're going for more proven championship quality
Moody foocker who will play well in his first games then have a long term mystery injury. Then ask for a transfer because he can't settle in the south. This will continue for the first two seasons and ask for further transfers, but when he realises that know one is prepared to pay a fee for him he plays his best football for his final season. Talented lad who only cares for number one and does not a give a **** for the fans who pay his wages. I think he could be a good signing for the Palace if he gets his head right, but I have my doubts.
