I've been playing around with some of my audio editing software the last few days and I've figured out how to record BBC RH match broadcasts thru Tigers Player. I've got a full recording of the Wolves match if anybody wants a copy (I'm uploading it to a server now), and as long as work doesn't get in my way, I'll record the rest of the season if there's any interest. What do you guys think?
Why not just stream it live as it happens so everyone can listen in. Privately, don't advertise it on here, ask for interest and pm people.
Nice gesture I suppose but weird. Why the **** would anyone want to listen to the radio commentary of the Wolves match, or any match, way after it had happened?
Appreciate your comments. The only reason I thought about it was because I remember someone on here looking for Burnsy and Swanny's commentary of the Playoff Final a month or two ago and nobody had it. It's less about "listening to it way after it happens" than it is about the commentary as a document of a huge moment in the club's history: the match that gets us promoted again, whether it's Friday, the Watford match on Saturday, or the last two. That's all. If it's that weird or stupid of an idea, I won't bother with it. Incidentally, I had forgotten completely that tomorrow's match is televised. If I'd remembered, I probably wouldn't have brought it up.
I read the OP as though you were meaning to do it for every game which I think is why you're getting the "why" responses. If it's the game that seals promotion (which tomorrow definitely won't) then it would be worth archiving it. I suspect though that we won't be playing the game that decides it.
I see what you mean. I didn't consult Watford's schedule when I got the idea; I thought they played the same time as us the rest of the season and any matchday would be a chance to clinch promotion, which is why I'd archive the rest of the season. If we won't be playing in the game that decides our promotion - at least until the last day of the season, and hopefully we've clinched second place by then - is there much point?
Why not either listen on Humberside or pay the £35 a season for Tigers Player? Its hardly bank breaking cash, even for a student like me; and it prevents the club being ripped off by bells like this one.
i might video myself leaving the game on 70mins , so i can get to work on time Cycling to work - listening to the rest of the match on the radio , i will be having Kittens all the way to work no doubt
