Bringing the family over to England the final week of June. Legoland is on the agenda but tickets for 5 of us seem very expensive. Has anyone got any tips as to the possibilities of getting discounted tickets anywhere?
I look out for some 2 for 1 vouchers as well mate....loads of places do them. Hope FT can sort you out, if not let me know and I'll see what I can do. (Btw, top man FT)
It is expensive, but so is most places these days. For families (especially young families) it's a good day out.
Cheers Staines. I just googled and there is a 2 for 1 voucher promotion on certain Kelloggs cereals. I must check if it is running in Ireland.
Ciarrai go to www.kelloggs.ie/promotions I have got a packet of Rice Krispies and Kelloggs are offering buy a child or adult ticket and get an adult ticket free.
Talking of 2 for 1 deals - when i was at Uni in the East Mids i remember Weetabix doing freebies for Alton Towers - the town had run out of weetabix within hours of word getting out!
Nice touch FT, top man. Coincidentally, I've just finish building a replica of Rome with my daughters lego. It took me a day.
Unless your nippers are around 5 years old I truly wouldnt bother with legoland there is nothing there. Chessington would be a better option or if they are teenagers Thorpe park. I am surprised no one else has warned you
That's a good point actually loveit. It's very lame. My girls have been going to CWoA since they were five. They found legoland very boring. They're ready for Thorpe park now.
The problem with Thorpe Park is that it can be very moody. I was put off a few years back when they were making the teenagers go through metal detectors at the entrance due to a lot of them carrying knives. Loads of aggro and fights. It might of got better but still loads of OB at Staines station to stop the trouble.
