I watch loads of other matches. And sit quietly appreciating them. Unfortunately that is what too many of our fans do at City games. When at City I am there to see them win. If that is 1-0 with a 90th minute own goal then I go home happy. If they lose 4-3 I am miffed off. As has been mentioned before there is a difference between supporting and spectating.
I go to watch city but I can't help but enjoy getting to watch these top class players such as mata and brek Shea in the flesh. It's the pinnacle of the sport and if you can't enjoy watching the best of the best do their thang, why do you even want us to get promoted in the first place? Surely the whole deal is getting to see city against these teams and players the world talks about, if its not that it's winning, and if all you want is to win every week surely you'd rather just stay in the championship?
I don't give a **** who we beat- what matters is that we win. A defeat against Man Utd ultimately is as depressing as against Wycombe. It's great when an opposing star is injured or suspended and can't play against us. It levels up the match a bit. People spunking over opposing star larkers should go and knock one out over Stevie G in their Carlsberg manager's coat.
I only get to see City a few times a season as am around Europe most weekends with my dad with work, so seeing the players iv watched in Holland Germany and France that most of you would never of heard of is a joy to see in the premier league and finally make the big move after all the scouting and match reports, and stat cards filled in
Goalkeeping scout actually, for a current premier league team I'm not bothered if you don't believe me, I know it sounds unreal but it's the truth, the fact his work broke my parents marriage up and the upset it caused him and the family , I enjoy our time watching players it's my only time with him
Marc-André ter Stegen from Borussia Mönchengladbach, but he is out of our league, he will go to an established premier League side, or top Bundesliga side, best iv seen this season
I've always thought Sebastian Frey should've had a better career than he did. One if the top 5 goalies I've seen in the past decade yet criminally ignored, especially by France.
yes, he will be getting on now, early 30's, but still young for a keeper, he is great at one on ones, and getting down, fast reflexes, some serious questions over his command of area, and Arial ability tough from memory
