    And the Ross County Chairman?

Did he say he would be voting NO?

He said he would go into the meeting open minded.

Obviously he never got the compromise he wanted.

The papers said a week before that they werelikely to vote no, the chairmen knew this as well, that's why it was said they were speaking out, trying to convince them before the vote.

    Expected or unexpected?

It's what they reported. They named St Mirren as one of them on the Saturday, I think, but were reporting two no votes from about the Thursday.

Well the SPL chairmen are not mind readers you ****ing idiot, MD just told you the Ross County chairman said he would go to the meeting with "an open mind".

Medroworld : Open Mind = Definite NO

Is that what you are trying to say?

MacGregor told BBC Scotland: "I'm not going to say what decision we've reached until I tell the meeting on Monday, that's only fair. "I'm an optimist though and I don't we see why we can't compromise."

Does that sound like a resounding "NO" to anyone?

As Gambol said though, the BBC had a story up on thursday or so saying they understood Ross Country and St Mirren would vote no.

What the **** are ye all arguing about ...

    <laugh>

    10 said Yes
    2 said No

Who cares if it was last minute change of heart or it was decided months ago... they said no.

There was no room for compromise, only vote this all in or not! The SPL should have had votes on each part of the solution separately.

Aye but that would end Medros and Devs argument.

    Therefore your point is invalid.

The point being it wasn't a last minute unexpected NO, if you read the papers, football news ya would have clearly seen which way it was goin.

Only a ****in idiot would say they didn't expect it.

Take a bow Mindy & Dev.

I was only saying that because of the way Gilmour has behaved he has lost integrity...going on about how many days before the vote statements were made is moot. Agreements were made at meetings and nobody made ultimatums at these meetings threatening NO VOTES.

If you were in Aberdeens shoes wouldn't you be pissed off?

I couldny give a **** about Gilmour or Aberdeen.

Going on about reports of no votes days before the actual vote is not moot. How can anybody be surprised by the vote not going through given that reporting. It still could have gone through, of course, but nobody can say it was a surprise or was unexpected that it didn't.

Surprise, surprise...Medros whole argument is based on his belief that "last minute" literally means 60 seconds before the vote

I'm sure I predicted he'd do something like this earlier

Woo hoo Medro gets a desperately needed win <laugh>

I don't really understand the point of this "debate".

I'm glad the vote didny go through. I don't know anybody who thinks any differently. I haven't seen anybody on here say they wanted the vote to go through.

So, really, what has been the point of this?
