Which (if any) of their players would you take? I am a big fan of Mbia at QPR, I think hes a cracking centre midfielder and would certainly improve our first team.
Think he would be class for us. However have visions of him and PDC doing a Dyer/Bowyer on the pitch. Not sure if he's right in the head.
Are people serious? I wouldn't touch any of them with a barge pile, I think they're decent players but there is a reason why QPR are going down, because there so called big stars can't be bothered to pull their weight. If they can't be motivated under Redknapp on £80,000 - £100,000 a week I doubt they'd be motivated on a cold winters day with a wind blowing in off the North Sea on £30,000 - £40,000.
TBF, some of the players Harry brought in are exempt in my eyes. from January theyy were always playing catch up, always going down. Good players who really had to say yes to the crazy, crazy offers from QPR. Blame the club a hell of a lot more than the players.
He can cover centre back, actually he can play anywhere along the back. His best position though is as a defensive midfielder.
Wigan (Figueroa, Mcmanaman, Gomez,Alcaraz) QPR (Bosingwa, big wages though Wright-philips, Hoilet). Stoke (Huth, Nzonzi, Kenwyne) Villa (Benteke, probably a top 4 team may sign him, Albrighton. Norwich( Snodgrass, Bassong.
i can see why some of them have been offered stupid money in january yes, but i still dont think the performances justify even half of their price tags or wages. The only one who has shown some class at times is Remy, but from what happened with them up the road, I'm not too impressed with his attitude. M'Bia looks decent, but 2/3 decent performances over a whole season doesnt seem good enough for me by a long way. Think N'Zoni would be a decent buy, aslong as PDC puts his foot up his ass.
Le Fondre has shown he can score goals from the bench and Pdc says he wants 5 strikers. Junior Hoillet is a very good player very much like Sess. James McCarthy centre midfielder at Wigan can be tremendous. Aroune Kone would be a good option too.
Remy is a very good player. He would have been offered a veeeeery good wage at QPR, more than at the Skunks. There has to be a relegation clause in his contract, and with the performances he's shown since signing n Jan, he will be snapped up when QPR go down. Win win for him. Sure, his team get relegated, but you can't go 14 games without a win since the start of the season and expect to not get relegated.
Remy, Samba , Taarabt, Carrico who has gone Reading is a very good player, not had a chance to show it yet, and if Wigan dropped Kone, McCarthy, Gomez, Ramis and Di Santo all have a bit about them. If Stoke go down...... they can keep the ****ing lot. If Villa went, well, I'd be interested in a good 7 or 8 of their squad, some of the young lads, Lowton, Baker etc, will be better players for this season, in a way ahead of their years. Villa won't go though, so it's mute. Le Fondre, for all he gets goals, I just doubt he'd do owt for us, and Hoillett I hope is held to contract and rots in the Championship, the greedy, daft prick. Aged 22 and already money before ambition? ****er. He was going to play CL for Moenchengladbach, thy said he asked for 'established Germany international money', and rightly they told him go go **** himself.
I largely agree with this... Especially agree re Hoillett. Remy and Samba would be on a lot though, might not come here. My picks would be Mbia, Kone and McCarthy. McCarthy looks like a great player in the making. For strikers, if we've already got Fletch, Graham and Connor, then we could do worse than Le Fondre + 1 top class. I still want to see Connor given a proper chance though! He can make it!
