I'm with Chico. Derby matches are so difficult to predict. Form, and league standings, quite often count for nothing.

Think I would agree with our mick ,did we not win away and they won at our place the last time we played 4pts would be good for us.

It's going to be interesting to see how Cardiff are going to approach the new season. Will they beef up their squad with expense retreads and morph into a QPR; or will they stick with their squad, blood the odd younger player, and introduce economic but high quality players from overseas. Do they have a football philosophy and business plan to stick to - or will they throw mud at the wall and hope that enough of it sticks.

Re the local derby then we must focus on winning the home game and anything on our trip there would be a welcome bonus and hopefully both games will be trouble free.

Having played in the classico of Barca v Madrid, I don't think these two matches will phase ML in the least. He knows exactly how to prepare for such games. He will say the right thing, do the right things, and when all is said and done bank the points.

I agree, derby matches are difficult to predict with form and league standings counting for nothing - so I'll settle for 6 points and a goal difference in double figures <ok>

I think im right in saying that that no team has ever done the league double over each other ..ever !! anything can happen in a derby game, look at the sunderland v newcastle game the other day!

3pts at home would be great, anything after that is a bonus <ok>
