One thing I do know is your take off is way too steep. You need to sweep back along the deck a bit and let the club raise naturally. You go straight up off the deck. I'd have shown you but once you've had a lesson you'll be told anyway.
That's what I've identified myself . That's what I changed on Saturday. Worked well off the tee but topped a few off the deck. Also tweaked my wrist snap. As I was bending my left elbow. Thing I'm going to try and tweak today is my impact position.
Topping is easy enough. Depends which club is the problem but if the ball is too far forward in the stance then you could top it. Irons need to be between your legs, driver just inside your left ankle and then each wood half a ball width back of that. Hit into the back of the ball with irons, hence the divot, and sweep up with woods. Simple. Golf is food for the soul and sanity red lad.
got these quality 'juicy lucy' burgers from the butcher near work today, stuffed with stilton and spring onion. Going to serve with wedges and salad, perhaps some rioja too.
In a burger bun though?? I'd hate to admit it, but i'd still put a slice of plastic cheese on that burger. its just not a burger without one. Last night I had cheese and biscuits... blacksicks blue cheese and some brie with caviar.
of course, bun goes without saying! lightly toasted too with some yank mustard and ketchup and naturally the plastic cheese. I had a pizza express meal last night, sloppy Giuseppe
take out or eat in?? havent been to pizza express for ages. cant remember the one i have from there.. may be the etna, though i think it is a different one... spicy one on the bigger thin base they do. and you also have to have doughballs. love em.. the wine is normally good in pizza express. though the last time i went they didnt have it.. was a fruity white italian.. bloody lovely it was too.
I had burger out last night. Got to say, it was very delicious. Two burgers, in a bun, tomato relish (not ketchup), melted cheddar and red leicedster and slice of bacon. Chips and salad on the side with some english mustard and two pints of otter Ale. Really good I must say. Just had macaroni cheese for dinner.
eat in sweats. I reckon the packaged ones from supermarkets are just as good though. I was tempted to get a couple of ales or even lager but I resisted for the weekend.
I do love a good burger. though wont let proper cheese anywhere near one. perfect burger for me Plain bun (no seeds) slightly toasted, slice of plastic cheese, dollop of mayo, iceberg lettuce, a bit of chopped tomato, burger, another slice of plastic cheese, smear of mustard, gurkin slice, ketchup, bun. served with thrice cooked chips, or possibly roasted new potatoes which have been doused in oil loads of salt an pepper while roasting. reckon I'm going to go buy some aberdeen angus burgers on my way home.
I may substitute the plastic cheese for a slice of pre-slices cheddar. You've also reminded me about gherkins!
I'd much rather real cheese to plastic, although I do like plastic. Cheddar or Gruyere is perfect for a burger. I also like mayo, Mustard, ketchup/relish of some sort. Bring on barbecue weather.
if youre up her during the hot weather we will incorporate bbq and golf over here.. need to get a gas bottle for the bbq though.
Having a stir fry tonight with some aromatic duck rolls from the Chinese. Got 4 hobgoblins from lidl for £5 too.
Curry tonight, no idea what as we've had a couple of beers so have to rely on a 'just eat' take away, which usually aren't as good as the regular haunt. Might yet end up with pizza.
