All rivalries aside I feel for this lad as its been announced if will miss all of next season now as he has suffered a total relapse in training. Never like to see players so badly injured and it begs the question if he will ever play again? All the best lad.
Sammy, I love football. I like a wind up and a slanging match. I feel gutted for the lad. Never like to see it.
Echo this Cest, and said as much to the lad I was with when I read it, a fellow Mackem. Bar Steven Taylor, I would not wish it on any footballer, and wish the lad well.
Spoken like a true football fan Cest I wouldn't wish this on any player of any team. I hope he recovers but have the same fears as you!
poor lad. hope he comes back from it but it's a hard road. we lost two to pretty much the same thing, meyler and campbell are still playing but haven't been the same since. that said, fat ronaldo did his twice (?) and then went on to top score at a world cup so it's not necessarily the end.
I think the guy is a total prick and have no feelings one way or the other over his injury, sorry but I am not going to start to pretend to give a **** just because a multi millionaire I detest can't play footy for a year.. In truth I would rather he was fully fit and available because he is total ****e.
Sorry but I don't agree with this. I can rip the piss and argue with any fan but would never take this attitude. We've lost good players over the years and regardless of how rich they may be, they are still fellow human beings and football people. All except Steven Taylor and he's a total ****wit.
To each his own, but whilst you feel it's fair to bring up his financial status I'll point out that on say, £25-30k a week his taxes would more than likely pay to run your local GP's practice all year round. I'm sure he doesn't stand outside your local GP's calling everybody a prick that goes in, feeling hard done by because they're all wearing Sunderland shirts. Hopefully Taylor will have good support from the club and his family and friends and his recovery goes well.
