FFP will stop us spending much, based on our crowd's and income, I reckon we will not be allowed to spend more than 3.5m on any one player..

That does not get you very much in premier league, so I can see us getting plenty of out of contract players and loan players

FFP has absolutely **** all to do with the premier league, unless we're planning on qualifying for Europe.

And we're not quite there yet.

    It is.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...s-ratify-Financial-Fair-Play-regulations.html

But it would also appear we could spend £50M this summer and have a wage bill of £50M a year (with reduction/release clauses for if we got relegated) and we'd still be well within the rules providing after that we only spent what we made on transfer fees, so actual money available to us is more of an issue than the FFP rules.

TygerTyger is clearly an expert on it. He could probably clarify the ins and outs of it.

Dont think we have to worry about FFP next season. Loads of FAT players to go after also. No worries at all.

Don't claim to be an expert, but I can read. Suggest you do the same. The article from the Mail, posted by Ricardo, is as clear as any. Rolling Thunder simply invented figures to get a reaction from people. This is his routine form of posting. You seem to be a fan of his, I'm not.

I'm sure we can agree to differ.

I just am getting a bit irritated of the almost standard jumping on every post by at least one person. What the **** was the point of your post other than to make you look a bigger **** than Rolling_Thunder.

I'm not picking on you individually as it has got out of hand in the last few weeks. I would guess that you have absolutely zero understanding of FFP, but felt the urge to slag someone off anyway.

I might start a separate thread on ****ish behaviour and keyboard warriors when I get chance actually. Feel like having a rant.

That's the point though. If these kids who go around typing this **** said that to someone face to face, they'd get battered. I know if people said the sort of **** I get on here to my face, I wouldn't hold back.

Okay. I know its an internet forum so real life doesn't apply, but even so, there are certain levels of respect that should be kept.

Alternatively, we can just accept it and the board will die, which will be z shame, as I like talking about City, unlike the halfwits who just doing abuse.

I'm guessing that this was aimed at me, so let me respond.

I understand that you are going off on one because you have been nettled, but so was I for the same reason. Rolling Thunder irritates me because he posts crap just to get to see his name in print. He implies he has some knowledge but actually doesn't. I would guess that is why other people also dislike him - see the "red" dots he has accumulated.

If you are describing me as a "kid", I'm flattered, but I'm probably older than you, and certainly past the age of being of interest to Jimmy Saville. I'm also probably too big and too hard for him as well, so in general terms anything I say on here I would say to someone's face as well, certainly I would call Rolling Thunder a half wit to his face.

You talk about levels of respect, and argue that I should not call him a half wit, but then you call me a ****. So that makes you a hypocrite (and yes I would say that to your face as well).

So all in all, I actually don't have a problem with you, and I suspect we maybe both over reacted to the posts, but I guess that was the original intention. I'll be watching the game tonight, and so I suspect will you. I doubt Rolling Thunder will (but I could be wrong), and that's why I think you are basically ok, and he's a ****.

PL clubs have 3 years to get within FFP. Unlike the FL which starts from next season.

I dont think that Hull City and the Allams will be anywhere near breaking any FFP rules.
