Sorry Spurf but that deserves a . I'm neither pessimistic nor optimistic, just realistic. Of course games can be won in many ways, City may have an off day, we may get helpful decisions, pigs might fly! but all things being normal, I don't expect anything from this game, and I'm not the only one, but that doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to it, and shall still be cheering them on as normal.
I'm not really sure what you're getting at now. Nobody has said its impossible for us to win, just that i/we don't expect to. Of course there is a chance we might win
You can give me a slap head as much as you like but at least you have now balanced your previous black comment.
You should know me by now! I was just tempering the pure white comment about them being beat by Soton, so that makes it more like grey! I'm not a judge thats donned the dreaded black cap!
Completely agree. Some would say I'm pessimistic and I'd definitely agree actually, though I think pessimism is just a stronger form realism anyway. Just because I don't expect us to win this game doesn't mean I won't look forward to it, I love going WHL for the football, atmosphere and general good day out regardless of result (though good results make it better of course). We're facing superior opposition with a depleted squad and they've just come off the back of two impressive wins, while we've suffered major disappointment in the Europa. Of course we CAN win the game, it's just unlikely in my opinion.
Oh God, the "keep calm" posters come back to haunt me, please don't say you're part of THAT clan Roo! You're not the type that sticks hash tags like #AVBelieve and stuff on Twitter are you?
Speaking of AVB, what's your views on him Spurcat? I'll admit to anyone I never wanted him but he has done a good job (provided we get top 4), still makes a few mistakes but I think that's down to his inexperience (which was the main reason I never wanted him, alongside the fact he looked confused at Chelsea) but he's done a damn site better than I expected and does fill me with confidence/ excitement of how he can develop along with our squad.
I thought that'd get a reaction! God No!!! The last thing I would do it get involved with all that nonsense! #inAVBiTrust
what are hashtags anyway? Twitter is pointless as far as i'm concerned. Its only use is slagging off piers morgan as far as i can tell. Actually, that makes it far from pointless
I was actually being a bit mischievous SoS, but to answer your question, I still think he's out of his depth with us.
I must admit I am rather a Twitter addict. Surprising as 2 years ago I thought it was tripe. It's good for banter, though I tend to get blocked by a lot of people... #TwitterLegend
