Exactly! I live near Consett! I support Sunderland. Couldnt give a **** about the city! I go to Newcastle alot. Its probably my favourite city in Britain. Beautiful buildings, atmosphere etc!!! But when a bunch of ****ing idiots make utter tits of themselves and attempt to wreck the place!!!???? As far as the rest of the country goes, it tars everbody who lives between Berwick to Middlesboro with the same brush!

I was just joking sir... Merely returning the banter of the game, where you lot said Newcastle was a ****hole <cheers> I tried to start a chant of "You all live here", but there was people in headlocks and throwing punches, so I thought I was wasting my breath. For what it's worth, I gave the second and third goals a clap, as well as your fans who I thought were excellent. I liked the "Cheer up Alan Pardew" chant, even though it doesn't blatantly doesn't fit, neither did the originals!

Of course I agree with you on many of the points! As far as the club being a disgrace though, I'm not sure what bricks and mortar and playing staff are supposed to do about people without a brain who think they're supporters? They've disgraced themselves, and made the rest of us feel ashamed of them. I don't blame the club.

But the fans represent the club so the club needs to give out some life bans for people wearing the shirt and chanting the name whilst costing the taxpayers money and frighting innocent bystanders, they should feel free to ban sunderland fans who dropped flares over the edge from St James' and Sunderland should ban them too.

Of course it's banter fella, but also good debate ;)

There was a hell of a lot more flares thrown at Sunderland fans heading to and from the train station by the large numbers of Mag hooligans, but Look Newcastle failed to even give that a mention..

Loads of people there who I have spoken to have reported being pelted with flares and bottles, and I'm sure you must have already have been well gone with Sunderland fans being kept back for half an hour after the game..

I went straight to the station to wait on platform 5 for Manchester train. I was with my daughter and friend who is a Sunderland fan and as I say we saw no trouble at station and saw no trouble. You can believe what you want but I saw no trouble and yes I did see Sunderland fans.

Don't know how anybody could doubt your word LE, you may be a Newcastle fan but you always say things as they are regardless.

It's ok AB maybe there was trouble but I did not see it.
What I did see in the ground from my seat was Sunderland fans making which looked like the Fascist salute which I found very distasteful.
As a season ticket holder like me AB I'm sure you received txt telling you not to make a salute of any kind.

I think we can both agree on that: and his explanations haven't helped his cause one iota!

His lame excuse of having his filling missing just didn't wash with me.
Why didn't he go home like all good fans and just accept that Sunderland were the better team.

A thug's a thug no matter which team he supports.

As regards the better team, we may as well not have turned up.
