http://www.footballcourier.com/news...city-linked-with-move-for-tottenham-star.html I am sure you have all seen Townsend from tottenham on loan at QPR and he has impressed me a lot. I would not mind him in the Swansea squad, but of course as long as the price is right.
He's quality. Far too good for us. Which isn't hard. He's been our best and most consistent player over the last 10 matches or so; again, not hard. It would be a good move for both him and you, but I think Tottenham will want to hang on to him after how well he's done for us. Maybe a loan deal for you guys? Would still benefit all as you will need a bigger squad in Europe next year!
Exactly, i think he will be quality for us and in europe, i would not mind a loan but i always like to know they are ours.
Wouldn't be surprised if either Dyer or Pablo were to leave at the end of the season. Dyer has been very poor compared to last season and Pablo has struggled since his return from injury.
Just cant see ML getting rid of somone (Pablo) he paid 5 mil for less than a year ago. On the Townsend thing. have always rated him. Love to have him in the squad. Could he be our next Sinclair. Out on loan all over the place, then finds his home.
He is worth £5 million of anyone's money and i would love to see him at Swansea either on loan or better still permanent....
We have got Dyer - but we insist on playing him on the inside in line with the 18 yard box. When he plays out wide in space and takes people on he is lethal. But we haven't seen enough of that this season.
Its paper talk. We've had no contact with this guy, his club or agent, or have we expressed any interest in him what-so-ever. I imagine this story comes via his agent trying to start an auction or improve Townsend lot at Spurs.
