Carberry has always been like that throughout his career, brilliant 1 day terrible the next. I swear him and Jamie Spencer are in some way related

Is Jack Wilshere just a bit soft?

All these hardman footballers make me piss myself laughing. To a man they would get annihilated in a rugby game. Can you imagine the bloodbath if a group of footballs hardest players ran into a group of average rugby players?

And imagine a bunch of rugby players running into World champion boxers!

Due to the nature of the sport, rugby players are generally a lot bigger physically than footballers. And the players bulk up their bodies for the physical element of the full contact game. Footballers are more athletic over all so comparing both is pointless

The rugby players would have a chance against a boxer. And they don't run around acting like hard men when they're not.

Roy Keane - acted hard. Would be battered by any rugby player.

You put the biggest and toughest Rugby player in a fight with even the best flyweight in the world, and the rugby player would be out cold in 20 seconds tops

Double B I am afraid you are wrong there, I don't like Keane but he could have boxed professionally had he chose to so and I dodoubt many rigby poshos would take him in a fight unless they has similar training like he did.

Eh? Footballers are more athletic overall? Where on Earth did you get that from because it's bollocks.

I'd say footballers are generally more athletic, they're faster and more agile. Were as Rugby players are alot stronger. That's just generalising though, I realise there are exceptions to the rule

Lads, what planet are you on?

Keane was a hard footballer but in comparison to, for instance, Sonny Bill Williams, who has boxed at heavyweight professionally. He would get killed. That's just in a boxing match. In an actual tear up I'd pick and rugby player over any footballer. I'm saying this because I've played rugby at county level and football for uni. I went to school with and am good friends with a raft of rugby players including Richard Wigglesworth and the Sanderson brothers all of who played for England. Wiggy was the smallest rugby player I've ever played with at a decent level but was much more of an athletic package than any footballer I've ever played with.

I get it that you love footy and so do I but there's no comparison between the athletic packages of a rugby player and a footballer and obviously you get the whole range of body types in rugby from props through flankers, centres and wing.
