Keith Stroud referee in the Sheff Utd v Brentford game in which 3 players sent off/11 yellows is from Bournemouth
Rotting in the league they deserve to be in, I presume everyone can remember the **** they gave us in 2005 & 2009? No sympathy with them whatsoever.
I remember last year at the Coventry game, about 5 mins before FT, the announcer piping up and requesting everyone to stay off the pitch at the end of the game - then 25000+ Saints fans looking at one another, saying, aye, that`ll be right !
Norwich vs Forest U18's is on ITV4. It's going to penalties any time now. Will Britt of Saints is on loan there. Tune in!
No sympathy at all, thats football and really for once, Karma has actually worked in football. They enjoyed the fake highs, so you take the rough after the smooth. But it's never a punishment to be relegated, if you love your club, you go regardless of which division they are in. So we'll see just how many who crow about always supporting them, actually do. Same goes for fulfilling the Trust pledges. As far as I can see, they have not ACTUALLY taken over the club yet have they? Could it be the money is already short?? That would be the ultimate embarrassment if that happens.
Norwich City win on penalties. Britt was the only one to stop any of the penalties going in. Norwich progress to the FA Youth Cup Final. Good luck Will!
So what makes your highs more real than ours considering you were spending 126% of your turnover on wages last season? It's the same thing isn't?
I think the point he is making is we know the Liebherr's are credible and are pretty well-known. Gaydamak was dodgy from the outset.
124.4%. And no, because that's expected for a promotion push and was done with the trust of reliable owners and financiers, rather than dodgy arms dealers and mysterious fradulent arabs.
That debt has already been converted into share equity, and we were profitable through the first half of this year...never say never in football finances, but there's been no indication of looming trouble with our accounts.
Don't know what Pompey fans were supposed to do about their owners. They enjoyed the highs and are paying for it now, but the blame can't be laid at their door. I'm sure if we got to an FA Cup final, we'd all be there and enjoy the victory. I can't see us refusing to go on a matter of principle. They have been relegated and have difficult times ahead. There, but for the grace of God, go I.
It is called calculated speculation to accumulate within a costed 5 year business plan....It costs money to build a team ready to compete in the highest league but the benefits, financially, are huge if you can manage to stay there, the team is built now so there isn't need for a massive outlay again. Every Saints fan I know knew that we going to run at a loss until we made it to the Premier League but when would become self sufficient as more and more of our home grown talents are introduced to the first team as apposed to spending big in the transfer market. Edit...Having said that, I believe that thare our far too many senior pros at the club, albeit some are on loan at the moment, this summer is the time for some serious pruning to streamline the squad and make room for a few Premier League quality players to come in to replace them and allow some academy stars to make the step up.
