Our only tough games left are Fulham and United. Fulham I'm confident of a win, United I'll say a draw but we can pip them. Spurs won't beat City.
Can't believe cini criticising Ramsey. I guess some people really do have it in for him. Ramsey was our MOTM along with Koscielny. Then Mertesacker and Cazorla not far behind.
We need to drop Giroud. If anyone else had been playing, we would have won today, he fluffed 2 simple chances.
The 1 point is not too bad considering the performance. But the actual performance was pretty bad. Defense was OK, but we didn't create the chances. I won't join in the praises for Cazorla as really all that flash was in pretty ineffectual positions. He rarely tries to create actual chances anymore, and goes for the safe pass too often. Sure it's nice for the eyes when he uses his skill to get away from hard individual positions but in this game that was no more than lipstick on a pig.
Everton have only lost five games this season and you can see why. A tough team to break down, and therefore you need a clinical CF to take those one or two chances you get against them. Giroud is anything but clinical.
We needed 3 points really. Now we have a tricky away game at Fulham, then Utd. If we'd won today and win at the weekend we really could have turned the screw on Spurs. As it stands it's out of our hands again. Jesus, how many ****ing points has Giroud's lack of quality cost us this season? He's not top draw. He's a decent back-up striker and that's it. Wenger dropped a bollock by not replacing RVP adequately.
Koscielny was covered by an Everton player, and he goes for the short pass to him anyway. Does it all the ****ing time.
Bit gutted to draw really. We made two or three really good chances that we could have scored one from, Giroud at the near post was the best chance, but he blazed it, credit to Jagielka though he was all over Giroud in the box. Result suits the spuds best, so it's an added shame that we couldn't find the final touch.
It's painful watching a legendary striker of ours have to analyse our donkey's miss. How did we get from players like Wrighty to players like Giroud?
