What sort of potential winnings would it take for you to actually want Saints to go down? I'm struggling with this thought.
Thank you! It's a real pleasure going to Saints games recently; regardless of the result we see good football (albeit from only one of the teams in Wet Spam's case) I don't doubt we're more than safe. TBH, I make an absolute packet if we finish top 10 and I still think we'll do it. I expect you'll be safe from relegation as well if you just keep up the pressure for the last push. Vin
That's a great question. I can't say I have an answer, though there obviously is one. For proof, I wouldn't take it for a quid but I would take it for three billion quid. So, somewhere in that range is a turning point. Probably several thousand pounds. But I'd regret it SO much after winning that I couldn't bear the pain. Vin
Big game for Wigan tonight at Man City. Can't see them getting anything but they will still have a game in hand.
I suspect this has already been posted but BBC have posted up their predictor now! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm Here's my go - please log in to view this image Seriously close between 8th-14th!
Well I don't usually do the BBC predictor but thought I would see how I have the overall table looking and this is what I finished with...
OK so one of Wigan's gamers in hand has gone. Looks like its between Villa, Stoke and Wigan now for he dreaded third spot. Saturday sees Stoke go to QPR and Wigan to West Ham. Villa have an easy away match against Man U on Monday!
It's interesting that whenever I see someone fill in the BBC predictor they never get the last relegated team on above 36 points, and that goes for other teams forums I have looked at too. I must of seen about 50 different predictors on different forums the last few weeks and that always seems to be the case.
Personally I still think the magic number will be 38. Three teams already have 34 and I can't see all of them failing to win at least one more match.
