Anichebe please. On another note, not suggesting we should go for either due to the wages but West Ham are set to release Matt Upson and Kieron Dyer.
Realistically I think that neal trotman (did well for us on loan and has great potential), neil danns (goalscoring midfielder we seem to need) and david norris (my step dad is an ipswich fan and really rates him highly) could come to us. hopefully michael kightly could be added to that list. Then if you chuck in there a new striker maybe a mackail-smith or a nicky maynard and we would have a good team that could achieve a play off place .
I'd imagine Simon Cox will get an extension on his deal but if he doesn't - we should get straight in there.
Wade Elliott is out of contract... always been a good player and I do believe a Saints fan, could be tempted here?
Is he not a first teamer for West Ham? If not, he probably will be after their inevitable player losses.
Believe it only when on the OS. When that preacher predicted the end of the world, I thought I'll only believe it when it is on OS
Think we need a back-up/rival striker in the Lambert mould (Target Man) as we've been lucky to have him nearly ever present since his arrival and judging his performances at the start of last season he personally suffered as a consequence. Although Carew is probabley the most talented on that list, I think Helguson is the realistic option Experience in midfield? Murphy or Bowyer could be an option. Although not essential for the team in terms of position Kightly or David Jones would be brilliant signings Jaidi has signed, but Faye from Stoke could have been a similar option and a few years younger
