Should be a league of 16 , after 30 games home and away against the other 15 , the league splits into 4 groups of 4 meaning another 6 games equals 36 games in total . The top 4 playing each other at the end would make it exciting ( if Rangers ever return !! ) and the bottom 4 playing their last 6 games against other would make the relegation battle more interesting .
Hamilton have called a meeting for next week to look at proposals for an SPL2. Never saw that coming.
I go to games toiler , if you've been to more than 2 games this season I would be surprised . In May I will be making my fifth trip this season to the Highlands to see my team , an utter joke. Get back to visiting teams grounds once a season ( why we need a 16 team league ),bring more interest to the home team fans when the big team comes to visit .
I agree. I fail to see how the changes would have made scottish football more interesting. It would not improve anything. It wouldnt result in more interest. I can see having one ruling body as making more sence. But they could do that without making changes for the sake of making changes to the format
Celtic take 3000 to the highlands , ict and Ross county hardly fill a car , there is only one prick in this debate , and it's you .
There was a flaw with the proposals. Say st mirren dropped 15 points behind the rest at the start of the season why would their fans turn up until after the split? Their games would be meaningless. It was a **** idea but I wonder why they were in such a rush to vote it through?
The whole idea was stupid , all points scraped after 22 games . You could have got 66 points got your star players injured getting those points , then when the league was there to be won you would be using squad players
