Afternoon all, liking the look of Milgen Bay in the 3.25 at Kempton. On his only previous appearance on Kempton's turf course he finished 3rd behind Our Mick (now rated 145) and Bless The Wings (now rated 149) in a Class 3 handicap off today's mark of 115. He was getting weight from the first 2 but this looks a much easier task. They employed different tactics last time, leading all the way with cheek pieces applied and that did the trick as he made virtually all to lump 11st 12lb to victory at Leicester. A 5lbs rise for that seems fair and I think he can repeat the medicine today.
Also like the look of Karen George's horse Triple Brandy in the 5.20 at Exeter. By that great stayer Double Trigger out of Aquavita, Dam to the useful-looking Henryville. Gets plenty of weight plus the 7lb allowance from the jockey, I think he could go well at a very tasty price.
I have just noted again that Hayley Turner insists on changing her whip in a finish far more than is necessary. They are just discussing it as I speak on ATR but this is not the first time I have seen this. She is obsessed with pulling the whip through when actually needs keep driving, and I have seen her lose races she should have won due to this. If you remember, have a look when she is in a finish, Since I first noticed it I have watched her and she does it all the time, very unfortunate habit. With regard Selections today I have only just been able to have a look but quite fancy two at Kempton 4.00 Unika la Reconce 9-4 5.10 Patsy Finnegan 8-1
Buxom was desperately disappointing. Will be keeping a close eye on Jamie Snowden's page to see if there was a problem as she was too bad to be true.
The forums favourite strikes again. That looked a very trappy race and so it proved. The Mullins mare pulled hard and jumped terribly.
Is that you gloating because I lost some money on a bet? I don't understand why you'd do that? Not very classy.
