Please don't get me wrong lads, I expect the squad you have now would be pushing survival. It is the current team that I feel has what it takes to stay clear of the drop zone. My only worry for you guys is that too many changes might be made, whist not to the QPR distance, but anything more than 6 new players and it could then become a disaster. VT just needs to keep his head on his shoulders and let Malcky run that team, as an outsider looking in I am weary of that man. For your sake I hope he is not going to end up like Abramovich and buy who he wants to see in the team, there is nothing to suggest he will do it but you have the Mansour route and the Abramovich route, discounting the billions it is about the approach. I genuinely do hope it is the Mansour type of guy where he will sit back and realise that team matters rest fully with the manager.
VRD, swansea bought 13 players over the course of last season, admittedley a couple were young players but all promoted teams buy 8+ players. as for tan becoming an interfering chairman, i doubt it. he's been here around 3 years and its unlikely he will suddenly become what you think.
You are true to a certain degree, but only 6 of them have played meaningful game time. Two of those are usually coming off the bench so 4 are first teamers. The others we got are not really getting game time. If you feel Tan will not want a complete overhaul then it is a good start.
I have to say most English and Swansea fans who've bothered to comment have been congratulatory. I don't get the same feeling with the media though. Talk Sport recently did an interview with a manager, & both the interviewer and the manager agreed that there was no outstanding team in the championship this season. The manager was Dave Jones
well he would say that wouldnt he. we've been the man u of the championship. whereas others have moaned about the quality, we've been the only team to have had real consistency, and have ground out the results when needed. of course jones bitterness / jealousy towards what has happened here invalidates any opinion he may have towards us, but he's entitled to his incorrect viewpoint
