If we lose & other results go against us, what a horrible thought that is, just hope we can extend it a bit longer to pro-long the agony
Thank you Aussie. This board is full of miserable, negative old scrotes at the moment. Understandable I suppose, but Christ this 'lets think of the worst thing that can happen and assume that it will' attitude is boring.
Aussie i really hope your right. S.B chill out man, not negative just being realistic & not miserable, attitude look at yourself.
Relegation BBQ at mine lads. I'll marinate the ribs & get the beers on ice. Can't support a club unless youve been through the highs and lows - relegation included - something Arsenal / Spurs / Man U fans will never ever understand
It is what is is men and Beth and what will be, will be. 3 people died in Boston yesterday, 1 of them an 8 year old girl. In the scheme of things, who gives a ****.
Well if we do the pressure will be off the players and they will be able to shows us the kind of football they really are. Think of it as a try out for the championship
There are 150-160,000 deaths every day, each one of them as deserving of attention as the next. (Also 360,000 odd births). Frankly, I follow football to keep my mind off stuff like this.
Chin up SB. If we do go down I'm looking on the upside - It won't be a boring Summer will it with yet more transfer madness plus I get to possibly go to - Huddersfield, Weds, Leicester, Forest, Blades, Barnsley, Blackburn, Burnley, Bolton, Derby, Brum and even MASSIVE Leeds (when you look at it nearly all Midlands / NW teams??) - plus I'll be able to get a bloody ticket for a change
Not having personally been there but going on what I'm told ..................... you need to take a ladder with you in your kit when you go to Leeds, cause it is a huge step up to a massive club.
Sorry lads, clearly not expressing myself well. My deaths post was in response to Woody's comment on the tragic events in Boston. Nowt to do with football, and I'm very chipper, cheers. No sackcloth and ashes for me. What are the odds on two Sheff teams in The NPC next year Wubba? I love Sheffield, and love away games too.
I know this is absolutely barking mad but I keep wondering what the odds would be on a double bet of us staying up and either of Norwich or Stoke occupying the third place! Probably easy money for the bookies sadly.
You're absolutely right, tragedies occur every day all over the world. It's just those little reminders. Heard on the radio this morning that one of the dead was an 8 year old child and it struck a chord. Didn't mean to come across all head in the sand.
Just throw your money out of the window RTID you won´t have to walk to the bookies that way. And if I can sound negative without being called a ´scrote´ I just haven´t seen enough passion or pride over the course of the season to warrant any miracles.
