I don't think Gilmour is trying to do Sevco any favours. His fans said they didn't want it so he voted accordingly and tried to make a case for it. It's for their own benefit, allegedly. The "take it or leave it" bit ****ed the whole thing - the league set up was a mess but the other bits, TV money being shared out, pyramid system etc were all good. Hope St Mirren fans remember that they've rammed the door shut on teams like Linlithgow Rose, Cove Rangers et al the next time they (inevitably) whine like **** about something being for the benefit of "the old firm" - think what Inverness and Ross County have brought to the professional game since they've come up, there's nothing to stop other teams doing something like that except a fat prick with a chip on his shoulder.
The cheeky **** said that the OF are motivated by self interest This is a perfect example of self interest, the prick moaned about the 11-1 voting system being the main reason for voting against change yet when he was offered a 9-3 he still declined. It reeks to high heaven. Hopefully St Mirren get relegated next season, I will laugh long and loud.
