I still find it distastefull that that on one hand people who moan about Thatcher's poor human rights record can then throw a party celebrating the death of a pensioner.

It doesn't help some of your lot were oversensitive in getting it moved onto our board in the first place as not many of your lot come over to our board.

Definitely this. Hardly any LFC fans come on the thread any more. They're all too busy celebrating the death of Thatcher, whilst mourning the death of their season.

 

I can be accused of many things but hypocrisy is certainly not one of them. The woman was and is despised by an enormous number of people, particularly in certain Northern towns and cities, and rightly so. Let's not have the argument again Rufflad. I'm certainly not up for any argument, my stance on her is fairly clear in that I see both sides to the coin. I just do not think throwing parties is he way to go, and I know that there are also a large amount that would agree with what I say, whether they liked her or hated her.

Your stance has been good and measured, what annoyes me is the likes of Mr Donga assuming he speaks for all on his let's celebrate death thread on your board.

It didn't really kick off on here, it was on other threads and he just decided one evening that he should transfer it over to here. We were all allegedy on the wind up and , as this is banned on the Liverpool baord, this thread had to go as it is just is not serious enough.

Nothing actually happended Red. I just think one of your 4,976 mods had enough and rather than just stop reading the thread they had a hissy fit then moved it.

 

I agree that celebrating her death is too much, she has family and friends that will be mourning and the respect should be shown for them.

However, I can tolerate it happening tomorrow despite not agreeing with the reasoning behind it. Most people celebrate the passing of a life, this happens in every day life he world over. Having a party is not that much different to having a wake really.

 

It wasn't quite that straight forward. There was a lot of bickering and name calling happening and despite our attempts to eliminate this it just continue and, if anything, was getting worse. We'd had enough of trying to monitor it and felt it was time the Man Utd mods had a go and so, Ze moved it over.

I think it is fair to say that our board as been better since it was moved but then, its probably been quieter until the recent banning discussion too.
