Looper and The Sweeney are both good, haven't seen The Campaign and turned Lincoln of as it bored me.

Two top films last Saturday. Alien closely followed by The Thing <ok>

  3. Never really liked Alien so not something that would interest me, it belongs in the scrap heap with Star Wars and Star Trek <doh>

    What's 'The Thing'?

  4. Ah, Lincoln is the one I was leaning towards. Might give Looper a whirl then...

<doh> Alien is a classic film with a great cast acting out of their socks. "What's 'The Thing'?" FFS <doh>

Not only is Alien ****, so is Aliens. I used to love that film and have watched it many times I then decided to watch it again after about a 10 year gap and it was terrible just hasn't stood the test of time.

So what films do you think have stood the test of time and what so called classics would you like to see remade?

    Grease <whistle>

When did you last watch Aliens? If it was a while ago don't watch it again just cherish the memory. <laugh>

Another good remake was Heat the original (LA Takedown) was terrible.
