Given that defence is the pre-requisite, that gives a bit of a dilemma given the money paid for him. Do you think Rose has progressed to a level better than the cover LBs, and therefore capable of making BAE raise his game ??
Ended up playing on until half time without the lights as it's not too dark. Hopefully the lights are back on so we can have a second half. From the 10 minutes or so that I saw, Kaboul looked a bit rusty out there and we weren't anywhere near our best in attack.
Yeah. The game at the Spanners last week was lacking the killer touch. Coulthirst looks like the season might be just getting too long for him now.
Agreed. As you know, Coulthirst has come a long way this season. He can be proud of his efforts. This time last season, it was all about Coulibaly. A year on and Coulthirst looks a far brighter prospect.
Looks like it might just be just a bit of tightness, he walked off fairly quickly although he was hold his thigh a bit. Hopefully it was just a precaution.
1-0 to United. Bit of a mess, Fryers basically nutmegged himself trying to intercept the ball and the United lad nutmegs our 'keeper to finish.
Last nights result means United have closed the gap at the top to 5 points with a game in hand, which is against 3rd place Liverpool. Our next game is away to Arsenal next Monday at Barnet's ground. I understand the group (can't remember their name) who are trying to revive the atmosphere at WHL, are intending to be there in numbers and have indicated to Barnet FC they anticipate having as many as 1000 in attendance. Should be a noisy evening. Kick off is at 7pm and entry is free.
Think it's called 1882, or something around that. It'd be great if we could get our semi final at WHL, I couldn't go but my friends said there was a real buzz there when we played Arsenal there in the youth cup a few years back. It was the first time a lot of our fans would've seen Caulker and the likes and with tickets that were a fiver(I think) and got you 5 loyalty points it was a good deal.
