The more I think about this tweet, the more remarkable it is. Tony states it is clear from his visit to the dressing room who is committed and who is not. It beggers belief that very highly paid professionals should have the nerve to show thier lack of commitment to the man paying their exhorbitant wages. Disrespectful and worthy of them being moved on as Tony seems intent to do. These tweets are clearly designed to send a clear and positive message to the fans. That is working, thus far, as a plan. Let's see what happens over the summer break. I am certain they know that the biggest sign of intent they can show is to keep Remy. Unlikely but then Tony likes a bit of flair. We were all pretty amazed when he personally orchestrated the Chris Samba deal!
Samba in the championship will grow into a bloody giant with confidence and goals ... If he gets one even this season he will get three One of many players trying too hard for the club ... Don't laugh think about it When this team relaxes they play however mistakes creep in big time and the composure goes I fully expect us to give up points when the heat has gone I would try for Remy as the French know he is a good player and after all the French play their way in the past they have used any player regardless of their league team ... We must lose the fact that the premiership is the all and mighty ... It isn't by a long way now 4th in my opinion but its the richest
Best solution for Remy is to send him on loan for a year, ideally to a German club or back to France. Unfair comments above abou BZ he has played through an injury that caused Damian Roden to resign. Samba is vital to next year. A big strong centre back who is great in the air is exactly what is needed at championship level as set pieces are even more important at that level and he should dominate. If we can manage to off load the uncaring or useless players mentioned like Bosingwa, Granero, Park, SWP, Cesar and even allow contract to lapse for the likes of Rob Hulse then Samba can help form the spine of a promotion side.
I'm almost sure that there is an awful lot that's going to come out with the wash surrounding the atmosphere and attitudes that have stricken our club this year. It has just seemed so blatant that these players are performing as cliques who just don't really like each other, the disparaging wage structure has clearly been much of the cause but no one seems to have been able to gel this into a team. I'm afraid the vast majority will have to go as keeoing a few from each clique will not eradicate this fundamental problem.
Guys, Ive said for a long time that there is a lot of trouble behind the scenes. Taarabt is another of those that is committed.
Good to hear TF coming out saying these things. Would much rather he did this than say nothing at all. But at the same time, it confirms our worries - that many of the players simply dont care or dont care enough.
Possible the only solution to our high wage bill will be to either loan them out and the owners pay a lot of their wages or pay them off with the owners' money. They may have to take a hit to get things right?
