I'm not convinced Zaha should be there, he's all flair and no final product, basically just a younger version of Dyer. When I heard Man U were sniffing around I looked him up, he's only scored about 10 goals in his whole career (yes I know it's been quite short), Knockaert virtually matched that in half a season.

    Have you seen him play?

I don't think he's worth anywhere near his £15million price tag (He's English though isn't he?!) but he has 'potential'.

He is definitely gifted with the ball at his feet and does set up a lot.

Even Aluko has scored more than Zaha in his 3/4 months he remained fit.

If you read the paragraph above then you would've found out that yes he has....

Apparently Man Citeh were looking at signing him for 10m and loaning him back. I think thats just paper talk though, there hasn't been any strong links yet but you have to expect it

I thought that last season to be honest. I've made a little bit more of an effort to see his style of play and how he fairs this season and he doesn't seem to score many goals or even get that many assists as you would think especially given how he is rated. I don't think he is worth anywhere near his price tag however he often beats his man and gives passes that become critical in creating goals, I don't think he stats actually do any justice. He is far better than the stats make him out to be

No, I can't agree with that. Personally I think that Aluko is the best player in the league, had he not have been injured for most of the season, he would have been in. It would have been unfair, however, if I did put him in, due to his injury!

Logic dictates that Zaha is the best player in this league ... I doubt any other Championship player will be bought by a Prem club for that price in the close season - but frankly only Palace fans will have any real idea of just how good he is ... you can't judge by seeing the odd TV highlight or in the 90 or 180 minutes you see him against your own team ... Paul Konchesky, for instance, could make Gandalf The Grey look like an aspiring young talent with a big future ... and Gandalf wouldn't even have to resort to magic to leave Konch baffled ...

For me Tom Ince has been player of the season. The amount of goals and assists he has in a stuggling side playing on a cow field is superb.

... well his father must be with you - given he believes Tom will fetch more than Zaha - although Liverpool's valuation when they tested the water was around half of the reported Zaha fee - however, I think this proves my point - Zaha was more impressive at the Walkers this season than Ince - but he was playing in a Palace side that destroyed us that day rather than a Blackpool side that found us in resilient mood ... the only people who can really judge their players are the fans that watch them week in, week out ...
