I see JWM trying to get to abusive when he cannot enter into the debate properly and starts to lose the argument
once again. I have out thought him once again.

During the miners strike, if you were a group of men traveling in a car on the M1 then the police would stop you and turn you around.

Like his heroine, the iron lady, I am not intimidated by his bully boy attitude and ignorant viewpoints.

Just remember who got rid of Maggie in the end.

Oh yes Scargill was useless. I didn't like Thatcher but the alternative was probably worse!!

Of course, the miners were intimidated by Scargill and that's why they are down in London this weekend to honour Thatcher. Unbelievable amount of bollocks! <doh>

Your views on the disabled are particularly enlightening and the reason why the tories will never run this country again on their own. It is disappointing that you cannot see this.

Our country was a mess in the 70s and 80s and too many people have romantic memories of this difficult time in our history.

I personally hope that Wednesday passes without trouble and everyone can get on with their lives on Thursday morning.

I'm not a great lover of Maggie, but i can see that she picked up this country by the scruff of the neck when it was down on its knees, yes there was some people caught in the crossfire as with any policy there will be people worse off, but we needed it because this country was being held to ransom by the unions, but she did didn't back down to their threats, as with the IRA and the Argies. But then we got the Poll Tax, which made a lot of families suffer wrongly.

You compare that with the lililivid lot we have now that do more U turns than a driving instructor, and we are being held to ransom by the Public Sector workers and the EU.

Mrs T was quite simply a crook. She sailed so close to the wind regarding her attempts to buy votes that I really think that she could have infringed the Representation of the People Act.The council house sales was merely a ruse to get those tenants to support her and,if you look at this correctly, the reduced sale price defrauded everybody who did not qualify, that means the rest of the population'

The deliberate under selling of shares in the privatised utilities was exactly the same.Thatcher was nothing more than a petty crook on a grand scale.I started my own business thirty six years ago and I have done ok.I have to laugh when people say I should be grateful to Thatcher because on two occasions I bought business premises for a song after her policies bankrupted the owners. To make it even better both were Tories.

To be honest I hope her funeral turns into a riot, she deserves it.

I see that Len McCluskey has just been re-elected as leader of the UNITE union, Labour's pay masters. He got 64% of the votes on a 15% turn out! Now that's proper democracy for you! <laugh>

I wouldn't read too much into what our resident Norwich Troll says, just humour him like I do!

I am afraid that you are unable to give a balanced response to my posts which indicates an insecurity and inability to communicate on your part.

I really think you should give it up darling

You are starting to make yourself look like a spoilt child.

treacle, sometimes you have to shrug your shoulders and accept that there are people who can't be helped or reasoned with and put your energy into something more positive.

Thanks to some encouragement from Maggie I have learnt how to be self reliant and to not go cap in hand to the state for welfare payments when the going gets tough <ok>

You don't intend to draw your old age pension when the time comes then?

Warky, Warky, Warky. My ancestors were aristocrats until around a hundred years ago when they had to flee and lost most of their possessions. God forbid that anything terrible happens but you are a little too sure of yourself. You might want to think of wealthy Cypriots who are being forced to surrender large chunks of their savings or those who had money in the Icelandic banks. This is what I meant by the generations in this country who have only known peacetime and are far too complacent. It is often the complacent ones who take their eye off the ball and end up in the ****.

I have just heard about the terrible events in Boston. As someone who saw at first hand what happened on 7/7 my heart goes out to the people there. If I may, there couldn't be a clearer illustration that sometimes people need help.

Crikey and you accuse other people of talking bollocks? Priceless.

Do you have much time on your hands by any chance?

Factually incorrect there Horse, it was the Tories themselves that got rid of her when she became a liability.

    Please try and keep up.
