The 2013 Holiday Thread

So where are you going to this year people?
Anywhere booked?
Any recommendations?
Any clean pics?
Have you been anywhere yet and what were the highlights?

I'm booked up for Marmaris, Turkey in a few weeks and also San Antonio, Ibiza later in the summer.

Ibiza is a class place and isn't the clubbing hell people think.
The clubbers come out after 11pm which is when I'm normally thinking about heading home with the wife and kids.
The sunset is truly immense and I took a few sunset pics last year so will pop them up in a bit.

I've just seen that Jet2 are flying from the Toon to Iceland now so I may pop over there for a gander one weekend too.

I'm having 2 weeks all inclusive on the Mackem forum because it's sunny and peaceful these days.

Just booked two weeks, all inclusive, adult only hotel in Majorca. Never been there before. The thing that sold it to me was all rooms have balconies that you can watch the sunsets from ...... fantastic

Somewhere called Santa Ponsa .... About 1/2 hr or so from Palma

 

I'm going all over the place.

June- Coxhoe del Sol

August- Spennydorm

September- Splashing out and going to Scarbados

 

It's about 20 years since I was at Santa Ponsa but it was great, that said I spent most of the time on the golf course.

 

What can I say .... my ideal holiday is flat on my back somewhere warm

 

San Antonio may be better for that

 

I'm quite partial to a shag .....................pile rug in front of the fire...

 

Michael Douglas and Cath ZJ have a place there.
They are apparently very well liked.

 

With a baldy heed I'm not surprised you like a rug.

 

Well if its good enough for them .... it's probably ok for the minx
