Some members have asked as to how to post large images / photos onto the forum. I can only state my way of doing things and other members may wish to add their thoughts. Most people save their photos as a 'jpeg' file ........ being that they are an interchangeable format ( will work with most computer formats ) If you post a 'jpeg' file straight to a forum, they tend to come out small in size and or, people viewing such images need to click the photo to see the whole image. If you create a account ( no costs ) with 'photobucket' .......... you can them upload such images to any forum and anyone. BENEFITS - The images come out full size straight up, as shown ................. I can go into detail if required. Hope this helps. please log in to view this image
Ok Kiwi. Now this may seem 'to much hassle' but in truth, once you learn the 'knack' to it, you can do it in your sleep, in two seconds, so to speak. Below is a step by step detail. Please note - once you have pasted a image and you wish to post another image, make sure you click the mouse cursor to the next line below. I don't think I have ms office powerpoint new computer and if you have to buy office I have not got a copy thanks anyway aussie must remember where this is for when I get office
Aussie, it's my iPhone that I use to try and post pics but it's very hit and miss. any suggestions for me?
Gents, probably fair to say that you can use whatever type / brand of 'presentation / editing 'program to write your files to. I only use MS Powerpoint because I have on my computer. Just save them as a j-peg file and go to PB. I guess the main thing is to be able use/ create a file from a program that you can send over to Photobucket or alike. I'm thinking that PB has it's own editing type files which may be worth looking into, that way, you can do in-house. Hope this makes sense. Aussie
Good stuff though Aus. Thanks for sharing. Reckon this is one thread that'll bounce back a few times.
you haven't answered my question!! I rarely use not606 on the comp only through the app on my phone so why can't I post pics all the time???
Can't say .............. You use a phone, I use a computer ................ I can't advise you on something I don't use. Must be something to do with the setup you currently have on the phone. Anything I've posted comes from my experience on a computer only.
