Sorry, I can't find any other mention of this, but the renewal at frozen price deadline date has been moved forward to Noon on Friday. I presume this is because they are so busy with processing match tickets at the moment they are giving folk more time. Merge if already mentioned. TICKET NEWS!!
It was mentioned a few days ago, but doesn't harm to have a new reminder. I'm plodding down there this afternoon to do mine. Been meaning to for weeks, but now I feel guilty that they'll think I'm a bandwagon jumper.
Bit annoyed about this, we want to move out the nappy wetter infested south stand but can't move until renewals have been done and see what space there is. Guessing more people might renew now leaving the chance of getting our seats together in the east less likely. I'd rather stay with the nappy wetters and get a grilling every time I open my foul little mouth and grace the children with prestigious words such as **** than pay more to sit with the flasks and blankets read a book types in the west.
I bought a season ticket for the first time ever in the April of the season we were promoted to the Prem, despite have been a fan fan since 1971. I did this because I knew that was the only way to guarentee a seat in the Premier League. Whilst in the queue at the ticket office at the time there was a couple ahead of me who I heard ask "If Hull don't get promoted, can we have our money back?". I don't know how people have the nerve, but it was an indication of the kind of fans we would attract in the Premiership!
Put some face paint on and wave foam hands around while in the queue. If you've got a tiger onesie, wear that too. You might even get shunted to the front quicker!
I've just got back from the ticket office, it's chaos... please log in to view this image They're using the ticket office for season ticket renewals and they've got two women in reception selling matchday tickets, but it's taking forever. I was about tenth in the queue when they opened reception for ticket sales and it still took nearly an hour.
Don't know why I found that funny, it's kinda bad. It's these ****ing morons who proper fans missed out to at Old Trafford and the like. Still it's money in the clubs coffers, but I can't understand why people would bother buying a season ticket just for the premier league? Mind boggling.
Its reasons like this why the internet is taking over. Who wants to cue all day when you can do it in 5 mins in the comfort of your own home
Did my son's (he can't get there) last Thursday. Strolled in about 2pm - had the ticket office to my self. Back out at 2.05pm PROMETHEUS
TO be honest though, these are all current season ticket holders. The real fun starts when its opened to the public.
Apparently, now the queue is well over 100 people, they've started bringing out application forms and people are filling them in outside.
As far as i know it's been that way since they went on sale, i didn't have one this season but i had the opportunity to get one for next season straight away. I'm not sure how it works with exsisting holders wanting to claim their same seat, i presume those seats were held back for so long?
If you're renewing there'll be no rush it will get processed before any new applications. Just post them like our Norman's ace here and avoid the queue.
