    A bad mix. you get all the thickos who are not football supporters and the police buffoons. Its a bad mix. This flare thing is a worrying trend of course too. We've seen it from away and home fans this season, hopefully it'll die out before someone gets hurt.

    Of course you have to have police presence, there are idiots who need arresting... I'm questioning the numbers and the aggressive stance, rather than the fact they're there at all.

    Putting the away support directly above you is lunacy!!! I wouldnt be able to settle and enjoy the game with the theat of bottles of piss and flares dropping on me!

    This isn't the 1st time that ncle fans have went on the rampage in their own city centre. If it was a one off thats bad enough but its the 3rd time i think in the last 13 or 14 years. As stated all clubs have their thickos but it seems to be only ncle that smash their own city centre up.
    The culprits all seemed to be about 14 years old.

    Well flares and fireworks are banned at the stadium of light and I have seen one since that ban, and they are frigging dangerous. And were they real Newcastle supporters who were throwing bottles etc ? clubs might have to play a match or matches behind closed doors in the future, if that continues.

    This is because most of your stewards are Sunderland fans - three of them said so when we were up at SJP. I personally got frisked by 2 of them and although I'm tall I'm not exactly built like a brick ****house.
