I've seen there's a bit of a queue outside the ground. I'm off down there this afternoon for my Barnsley ticket.
It can't be for Barnsley, only people with season tickets can get their Barnsley tickets until Friday.
It's been extended to Friday now, smart move on the clubs part, if we win tomorrow i imagine queues will be stretching halfway around the stadium
It true Barnsley are gonna give us 6 thousand? Is that how much their away stand holds? If that's the case I expect there to be a few left over for general sale.
Ticket office no doubt busy with Premiership bandwagoners jumping back on. Price freeze deadline was tomorrow, Tuesday 16th but extended until noon Friday 19th as mentioned by Strov on another thread.
That's the full end, they dont normally split it. I went there in the promotion season and we had around 3k in there rattling around. It's a big away end. I actually think Oakwell is a seriously udnerrated ground. Really good classic feel to it in the same vein as Bramall Lane and they've imnproved it enormously. It used to be really ****e and grim but is now a good away day.
They're not asking people if they're season ticket holders, you just have to be registered on the system and there's no limit to how many you can buy(as far as I'm aware).
Complain all you like but we need them, otherwise we'd have 15,000 fans and 10,000 empty seats in the premier league, we'd be a laughing stock like Wigan.
I went on Friday and she asked if both the people I was buying for were passholders and needed both of our addresses.
I think they've given up on asking anything now, they're just trying to get tickets issued as quickly as possible. I didn't take my pass with me, I gave them my customer ref number, but she said she could check anything with my ref number, she just needed to know I was registered on the system, so needed my name and address. I bought tickets for Wolves and Barnsley, along with a few for Brizzle for someone else.
