You lot are all probably sick about seeing Ryan Giggs related articles posted on here so here's another one. No but seriously just wanted to point out something I've noticed. When Rooney was playing well below his excellent standards in the World Cup and the beginning of the last season's Premierleague campaign it all became apparent that he had been playing away again. Rooney knew that he would be having his name splashed across our national tabloid's front pages for all the wrong reasons once again which effected his form. Now Giggs has been up to the same but he's still been in the form of his life. Some of his goals and assists for your team have been top notch and he has been a pure inspriration to your team's success once again. If you compare this to how Rooney was effected by the tabloids there is a massive difference. Anyway despite what has happened I would still look at Giggs as a role model. He is the most decorated successful British footballer in history and as long as I live I don't think anyone can match or beat his acheivements. There's not much loyalty in football these days and there will be less in the future. One final thing. I'm looking forward to the Champions League Final on Saturday and despite not being keen on your team, I still want them to win as they represent England and the Premierleague. It would be great to see the subjects of this thread in the papers for all the right reasons.
Probably because Giggs was shagging a bird who was fit and thinking "oh yeah, how awesome am I", while Rooney was banging grannies and street hookers and was probably more concerned about his sexual health than anything else.
But at the same time both players were caught playing away behind their partners backs and were caught by the media. So I think its still a fair comparison despite the standard of what was getting banged
