First Summer Signing - Ben Harding

The gasroom is full of the same old characters that think because they have been posting on their since it started up, they have a divine right to control the mood / thoughts of the message board. Anyone that has opposing views generally is shot down in flames. Then there are the spelling and grammar police and those that spout rhetoric and try and prove their intellectual superiority.....yawn
One thing about this place is that we can air our views (sometimes conflicting) without being ridiculed and even the WUM's from other clubs are friendlier than our own supposed fans on the gasroom.

On another note, Harding isn't a star signing, but bigger names are not always guaranteed to deliver i.e Duberry

I agree with Slasher. Big names dont guarantee our success. Lets not forget John 'laughing postman/stock' Williams, Ray Wilkins, Michael Duberry, John 'top scorer in the spl-his brother was Chris Sutton so he must be good' Sutton and Stefan 'more worried about my hair than my passing' Oakes. All played top flight football and all failed to do anything other than achieve mediocrity with us. In Waddock we trust!

 

agree waddock is putting together a good squad,we dont needs big time charlies ,we have got a group of players now that fight for each other and the duberrys of this world dont have a place in our squad.the unbeaten run towards the end of the season proves what character we have ,to go and get results away from home at torquay and bury prove that we have the bottle when we are up against it.in waddock we trust

Seriously though, fences blown down and trees uprooted, it's all very exciting (apart from the kilt bit).

 

the gas room is not for me,too many on there that if they dont agree with your point of view start slagging you off ,and weare all supposed to be on the same side ,i just dont get it,also too many anonymous posters so you dont know who the hell you are talking to,you dont get that on here even most of the wums are friendly on here.

 

I'd rather have Colu Mike than some of gasroom lot.
At least he has an excuse - he's from essex

 

You can't write a player off before they have started. I think with many writing him off it could be a blessing in disguise with little pressure on him he may prove all the doubters wrong.

Now onto the gasroom, I started on bbc 606 and preferred it to the gasroom and then obviously everyone from 606 moved to this and I lost interest and went to the gasroom (but it really is a load of pretend to be know it's chatting tosh) so I came back to where I started and it's good to be back

 

Never been on the gasroom - from what you lot say there is no need, good banter here and you people know your stuff about Wycombe.

Harding - I agree with Waddock as he hasn't let us down yet and seems to be picking off the best players from his old side, nothing wrong with that.

I think Leon must be holding out for a 2 year contract from someone and I can't blame him, but would love him to sign for us.
