We can stay up after the Sunderland win today. Even if we won all 5 games, which is highly unlikely, I don't think it would be enough. I really just hope we don't get relegated against Arsenal or Newcastle.
I will always believe in us, just not staying up this season...... From our Canadian Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics:-
We're done for, the interesting thing is who will join us and Reading? Stoke seem to be the latest in the 'dead zone', but even Norwich and Newcastle will be feeling uneasy now...
I hope Arsenal will have qualified for one of the Euro comps and the Toon will be safe by the time we play them both, also Liverpool too far behind to qualify for Europe. Reading could also be down by the time we play them. 5 wins are possible, so you never know, I think even 4 wins and 1 draw would keep us up.
That's it. Absolutely no expectation and nothing to lose, I'm looking forward to some relatively tension free games now, and some showing off. Though of course if we win the next three and other results go our way.......
After not getting 3 points from Wigan, I held this view for the Sunderland and remaining games. Seriously thought the players would come out with a bit of huff & puff, showing a bit of bling with a 'nothing to lose' attitude ........................... or we seem to get was zero care factor.
