I know some of you guys have met him (I now know certain posters real names hahahaha). He made a post about me and it is only right I make one about him.There is more to football lads. Well done on your win (certainly deserved in my opinion) however for once I am not upset. Total gent and hopefully one day I will be lucky enough to meet his family. I feel privileged to have met him tbh
You know it's not like me to argue bonny lad. But football is the most important thing in my life! Unless we get beat and then I echo your sentiments. Two top lads.
Don't get me wrong, I am hurting. I hate losing. However, today has been a real eye opener for me. Met a true lad and had a fun time despite the result. Hopefully many more to come (may get lucky and meet a few more of you lot )
Thanks for that son but I made oh so many mistakes up until a few years ago. Meeting Lorraine was my fruition in life in so so many ways. Before it was always about me, ego and how many drinks I wanted to drink or birds I wanted to pull but after the last three and a half years of seeing my girl become totally immobile and spending sixteen hours a day caring for her and bringing up Ella my attitude has changed vastly on life. Being with some one who totally relies on you to feed them, give them drinks and wipe their arse has shown me the true value of the word love. To have two legs and two arms that function is something Lollie will never know about but she shares mine. I tell her at least a dozen times a day 'I love her' and that keeps her going and me too in a spiritual way. Wish I could have had the feelings, attitude and care I have now a long time ago as I'm sure I could have made a lot more people a lot more happier instead of the bile I used to come out with..
