Well documented and known, she had no time for football or football fans, we were all hooligans according to her.

I forgot I shoud have realized that Hampy and his fellow Guardianistas are the only ones capable of showing any compassion. So much so that they are happy to allow the welfare dependency culture where there are now ghettos of workless families who have just been abandoned to a lifetime on benefits. How dare anyone challenge these people to actually get off their lazy arses and find work! Oh but there isn't any work is there! That's why we have had to let all the Polish et al come in to do it all.

"Surely the Right to buy council houses was optional and only the house you were living in was available for the tenant to buy... so if people tried to buy the house they rented off the council and if they got into debt its there own bloody fault....."

Let's resort to racism again shall we?

Have you found yourself out of work in the last few years? Because you would really have to have experienced that to know what it's like.

I certainly don't fall into your workshy category, from leaving school I was never without a job until 2010. Between about 10 and 5 years ago I was a temp who would be no more than a week before I found another post. Then, to my shock and horror, the job market changed. It was tough to get work, I applied for hundreds and when I did get an interview someone else got the job ahead of me. Of course this means I'm workshy. My brother shouldn't get benefits to help his family look after my niece who has a congenital heart condition. She's only 3 but I'm sure she's lazy too!

You don't have a ****ing clue mate, why don't you talk about something you do have a clue about instead?

I know that hampy and I have crossed swords from time to time.

But I think we are both singing from the same hymn sheet on this subject.

Tory governments always make sure that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

I just hope JWM never has any misfortune in his life and needs a helping hand to get back on his feet .

I suppose there is an argument for what you're saying, but again it's about compassion. It's a thoroughly complex issue if you want to debate it, it did no-one any good apart from scammers and investors and it's left our housing and welfare system in a huge expensive mess.

Well, I fear that her grandchildren will have inherited equally rotten souls but if they are good people who have taken the time to learn about their grandmother I'm sure they will understand why people are so angry.

I didn't attend my grandfather's funeral because he was a racist, womanising *****phile by the way.

Disgraceful, BBC censorship doesn't allow "Ding Dong" to be played even though it is No 2 in the top ten...

Stalin would have been proud...****ing ****s.

If either of them are reading this thread then perhaps you would have a point WCP.

I'd have thought that the BBC could at least have got some 'actor' to have spoken the words of 'Ding Dong' in some really bad Irish accent over the top of the tune...that would have been in keeping with the times...

Deluded, simply not true. Labour governments on the other hand ensure that the great workshy unwashed will always get their 'benefits' because it is their core vote.

With reference to your Hillsborough post treacle, while I am not privy to the facts of Mrs T's personal cover up, we all acknowledge the gross misdoings of the authorities however, why do we never lambast the fecking vile hooligan Liverpool 'fans' for their murderous acts in Heysel ! I have sympathy for those that lost their lives at Hillsborough but it's a pity the Liverpool public aren't as vociferous with their condemnation of their own

Apologies WCP for lumping you in with those two degenerates. You are perhaps misguided but not downright evil <ok>

Unbelievable post...Heysel and Hillsborough were two different events, the only constant was that sadly, football supporters lost their lives...the scum that followed Liverpool of yesteryear have always been condemned in the media, and **** knows we at Ipswich had it with them ****s in days gone by, but to somehow link them with the victims of Hillsborough (who have your sympathies lot of good it will do them), is frankly even beneath a WUM such as yourself.

Hampy, perhaps you should find yourself another football club to support as Ipswich Town as we know it today was set up by aristocratic Tory grandees! <ok>

And as to everything else I make no apologies for being an old fashioned, no nonsense Tory, and I am proud of what Margaret Thatcher did for this country. Just a shame that the usual Guardiansta liberal hang wringers want to trash her for their own political means.
