In the end her divisiveness was her downfall. Noone wanted her as PM anymore, the public didn't and her own Party certainly didn't. There's no doubt the unions needed putting in their place and that she improved our economy(in terms of growth), she improved our international standing, she was good for business but she ran the country like a business and the parts that weren't working she just didn't bother with. This country overly relied upon the Banks at the expense of manufacturing, she created a North South divide, closed the mines down and didn't ensure anything was in place for those who lost their jobs, they were just left to it, she stopped building houses and created the culture of greed and making the fast buck without thinking about the concequences. All of this came to a head in 2008 and I genuinely think the reason we are suffering as bad as we are stems from her time in office. She was extremely tunnell visioned which meant parts of our country improved but others just were destroyed and still haven't recovered. JWM the questions you ask about women are just silly, surely even you can see even with the blinkers on that she could've done alot more than she did. We don't go around saying why don't male MPs do more for men because men have always been in a privilaged position compared to women!! I do sometimes wonder if you can ever see the other side of the coin JWM.

JWM, KIO and WCP show contempt for other human beings including Ipswich Town fans and other people on this forum. They simply do not care for people who face hardship. Remember, many of them were in a strong position at some time and made a bad decision, lost their livelihood or family or simply grew old.
