There was a few isolated cases of in-fighting after the match that I saw, and it was pretty horrific. Bit of an insult to injury that I wear the same crest, to be honest.
The press have hold of it now so just like when PDC signed for us, they'll blow it right up as always. It's very easy to jump on bandwagons mate and the press are masters at it. Just a shame that a few hundred mindless morons are spoiling it for everyone and they probably would have kicked off regardless of the score.
Can't comment on the stuff outside the ground like, saw none of that, as I was being dragged about Boots with my girlfriend so she could get some new foundation (so yeah, I can say it does get worse than a 3-0 derby day humping). What I saw inside the ground was unbelievable tough. A guy was busy being arrested, then another older chap weighs in and punches him with a hayemaker as he was being led away! Expect our "pink cells" to be busy like.
Just rang my mate to see if he saw anything. He mentioned there was bother with the police before the match as they were being led along the street. Mags running at the Sunderland lads and instead of stopping the Mags the police were braying Sunderland fans to keep them back from retaliating.
It's just made the National news. It looks really bad. I'll not tarnish all Newcastle fans with the same brush but they are just mindless morons.
