    Anyone know why all the Stoke fans were clapping around the 15 min mark ?

    I tuned at that time and thought it was quite strange.

    Must be some logical answer.

    <cheers>

    Notts County are to use heat lamps seized from cannabis farms by the police, the League One club hopes lamps will improve pitch quality.
    Maybe WYP have a few in their locker to give use being we are on such good terms.

    Speaking of Stoke - with their 5 year stay in the Premier League I can't see anything on the pitch to see what they've spent their money on.

    They will get a decent fee for Begovic in the summer and replace him with the Birmingham lad. Shawcross has value, but realistically who else? If we do go up and swap positions with Stoke then I hope we don't go looking at any of their players as possible purchases

    That shotton looks quite handy, should poyet decide to keep elmo and Bruce sticks with 3-5-2, he could be an adequate replacement.

    I agree, i don't think any of their players would be a good buy apart from begovic but he's destined for much higher

    maybe we can tempt owen out of retirement <laugh>

    Stoke are in massive trouble. They've picked up 1pt in 10 matches.

    <laugh> Bloody good! I hope they go down!

    Eh? If di Canio decides he wants to keep hold of elmo to have a look at him himself (pretty likely considering Italians love of wing backs, what system did he use at Swindon?) shotton looks to be a perfect replacement for elmo if Bruce wants to carry on using 3-5-2....

    What what I've seen of shotton he's big, strong, quick, and got decent ability too. And he's got an afro.
