Sunderland have played with more passion, desire and commitment throughout. Pardew needs to hold his hands up. The majority of his performances this season have been terrible, especially if you take Europa games out of the equation. He also seems to have squeezed the creativity and verve out of our new signings. They fit in nicely with the team they joined in January now.

Fair do's, though this is the greatest derby for years for you. We still have the precious memory of 5-1

I'm actually really worried about our remaining fixtures.

    WBA away
    Liverpool home
    West ham away
    Qpr away
    Arsenal home

I don't think any of us can complain about the result in terms of Sunderland deserving it more than us. We looked jaded and uninspired while they looked hungry and passionate. We still have a lot to do to stay up and don't have an easy run in. We need at least one more win I think. Fair play to Sunderland. I expect we'll get our fair share of stick, but bless em, they've waited long enough!

Jonas is a grafter ( wretched player, his passing and distribution is abysmal, when he comes up against proper opposition he gets dealt with) though he must play

Tiote is tough tackler (constantly gives the ball away, utter **** for nearly two years) he must play

Shola is a lovely guy (cuts Pards hedge and does the lawn) he has to play

Haha agree, although tiote has had just a crap season, I reckon at the moment it's due to not having a long run in the team. Remember the player who destroyed man united, he's still there, somewhere!

Don't get pessimistic lads, I still expect us to survive, specs now Europa league is no excuse for lack of preparation training

The stupid thing is that after a performance like the one we had today, you also know we're capable of putting in a performance to win at least one of these. I thgink we'll be ok - but I'm nervous too!!

It could be a disaster. It all depends how the lads deal with this setback. If they let it get to them then it could seriously be no more points and staring relegation straight in the face. I only think we need another 2 points to stay up mind, so the bars not exactly high. Hoping to **** that QPR are already down by the time we play there (sorry Hoops) so that there is nothing to play for.

Might have been different if it had stood as it should have, but doesn't excuse how bad we played.
