Just read that article in the Sun, Waddo. I think it is unlikely especially as PC has backed Pulis at least until the end of the season. And what would such action achieve with the critical games v QPR, Norwich and Sunderland to follow, which ARE the 3 games which IMO will decide our fate. The statement relating to the 'rock-bottom atmosphere at the training ground' is interesting though.
Waddo Mate, I didn't even read the article because.. 1. I can not be bothered 2. Regardless of what happens today result wise. 3. We have QPR can I even with my KTF attitude, which I lost weeks back. See us getting a pt.? NO QPR score goals, we can not defend and can't score. 4. Norwich at home.. well like the Reading game ( I did say at the time that, for me was a must win and we fecked up) 5. Same against the Villa but WORSE performance wise, that's SIX pts that Clueliss say's we still NEED. It's about the only thing I agree with, he spouts so much crap. 6. Sunderland away.. we hardly EVER get anything at the S O L. IF the article is right and after seeing the player's last week. (They looked lost to be honest) I can not see us getting more than 3pts with LUCK vs Norwich. That will maybe decide our fate.. It's not looking good is it?
Er? I've just read the article, It wouldn't load first time round.. WHAT'S that last sentence all about guys? The F A have set up an investigation.. seem's like the article was cut short!
I see he has picked the usual losing side for today. The guy is a complete tool. We have nothing to lose so why not mix it up and go for it!!
I thought the performance today was much better than the Villa game, but the cold facts are that we are simply not good enough. I thought it was ironic that he went with Adams in a game that we were really not going to get anything from - I would imagine that he will be on the bench for the next game? No wingers (as such) and Shotton looked well out of his depth again, Walters had very little impact and the fact that Whelan is viewed as the glue in our CM says it all. The subs as usual were pretty poor and late. That Fulham equalizer against Villa yesterday maybe the goal that keeps us up.
I hope so Smithers, I must admit i'm finding it difficult to see where we are going to get points from without a significant improvement, I thought it odd today that Adam was included as you said is this an i told you so from Pulis rather than putting out a balanced team?
Adam put a few good balls in, but I thought he was (like the rest of the team) largely ineffective. That should be enough reason for Pulis to keep him on the bench next week.
Considering he was playing out of position, I thought Charlie did pretty well actually, especially in the second half.
Sarg Me too, I thought he was brilliant especially 2nd half.. Jones and Walters both messed up when given a great pass from Adam. He was really the only one out there who looked up for it! Shotton what can I say.. he's not even Championship standard IMO but what do I know... can't pass, can't tackle oh and that attempted cross in the final sec's. I had to smile at that. Thought Wilko did well enough but sadly, he like Shotton lacks the quality we need.
I think thats the point Sandor is making mate. Played out of position against arguably the best team he was hardly going to set the world on fire and the result may be a return to the bench in the game we need him most.
Was indeed mate, and he did the same with Owen, stuck him on the wing for 10 minutes. He never going to do anything from there, with that time left, and so Pulis gets another reason to not play him again.
