No objection to Alonso winning, but next time, can he make it a little closer please? It's no fun knowing who's going to win with half the race still remaining.
OOH-OOH, gossip alert! EJ spells out the SP/DC thing : "He's very blond... Because opposites attract, apparently"! I knew it Poor EJ, he's looked like a gooseberry all weekend.
The first 20 laps of that were insane. Love that the five world champions finished in the top five with different cars. please log in to view this image Really impressed with Button getting into the top five for the second race in a row. Absolutely dominant from Alonso. I was disappointed with the Lotus's pace but it wasn't helped by Kimi driving half the race with half a front wing. Hamilton's definitely in the title race, the Merc is heavier on its tyres than the Ferrari and Lotus, but it isn't chronically bad and the car has been quick everywhere so far. Shame Hulk couldn't hang on for a stronger finish, good to see Ricciardo back up his excellent performance yesterday and Bottas beat Maldonado for the 3rd race running . I thought Perez was ****e again, well off his teammate, and after ruining his own front wing in practice a couple of times, seemed hellbent on taking a few other people's. Apparently he chopped Alonso although I didn't see it, saw him swipe Raikkonen's though, shame McLaren didn't put Hulk in there.
If the Caterham hadn't got in the way of both of them I think Hamilton still would have had a big enough gap going onto the back straight. It screwed both of them.
You can thank Kimi there, he's a broken record today and it was his fault. Before that incident he was only a few seconds behind Button.
